Children will have a choice between our Italian Mac & Cheese or a smaller portion of lasagna, as well as milk or juice.

Mostra di Arte a Radici

Andrea Costantini will be presenting his artwork, answering questions, signing and selling his unique creations! Small bites and wine by the glass will be available for purchase during the event.

Explore the Wines of Veneto with Sandro Tasoniero

We are thrilled to welcome Sandro Tasoniero of Sandro de Bruno winery in Veneto to the market this weekend for two special wine tasting events!
Radici is the only stop in the U.S. during Sandro's visit. For this weekend's festivities he will be leading a tasting of five of his award-winning wines harvested from his magical estate "above the clouds" on Monte Calvarina. We will be serving traditional Veneto specialties like baccalà alla vicentina and bigoli all'anatra to pair with his selections.
No one will leave hungry!

We will be offering two tastings:
Saturday, December 5th from7-9pm
Sunday, December 6th from 6-8pm

$45 ticket includes the seminar, tasting of five wines & paired small plates. 

Space is VERY LIMITED. Sandro is a boutique producer with limited production of his organic and conventionally grown wines -- each bottle is numbered and unique, and he will be signing and personalizing them for your holiday gifts. Tour the Tiny Town of Terricciola 

Reaped in antiquity and history the organic, small winery, Castelvecchio, will be visiting us at Radici next week.  From their hills in Tuscany to our Hill in DC, producers Stefano and Laura will share their unique stories about their own little piece of perfection in the countryside. We are thrilled to introduce you to this dynamic couple. You can enjoy a producer's private dinner or stop in for a guided wine tasting from October 30 through November 1. They've even sent over treats from Terricciola like cheese, sauces, pasta and cantuccini to enhance your experience. We've planned the three following events:

Parlare, mangiare e degustare con Stefano e Laura- On Friday October 30th, Radici will be hosting a special aperitivo with Stefano and Laura. Enjoy a flight of four Castelvecchio wines and a plate of delicious Italian cicchetti (small bites). 30 dollars per person, 5.30-9pm.

Un Assaggio Toscano- While you are strolling through the outdoor market on Saturday October 31st, make sure you stop by Radici to chat with Stefano and Laura about their vineyard, history, and organic wines while enjoying flights- 20 dollars per person; 4-7pm. 

Degustazione Guidata da Castelvecchio- Reserve your seat now for an unforgettable small plates & pasta dinner with Castelvecchio on Sunday November 1st. Stefano and Laura will guide guests through tastings of their four wines- 35 dollars per person, 5.30-8pm.
